Richard Keeble is to give a talk on William Brown, the self-taught genius painter of the Louth Panorama at 7 pm on Thursday, June 26, at St Martin’s Church, Withcall (LN11 9RL).
Brown devoted three years of his life to the painting (1844-1847). It was a labour of love. But he died a pauper.
The talk is the first in a series this year aiming to raise money for the church.
